Quick tip: Skip the boring stuff

Add life to a boring presentation. If your presentation is starting to drag, go ahead and skip nonessential agenda items to keep attendees focused on the important topics. Just make sure to ask participants if they are OK with skipping items.

  1. A good tip, but one that leads me to ask why there are “nonessential” items present anyway. Shouldn’t the presentation only contain items that are deemed essential?

      Great point! I think that’s the problem with too many presentations. We try to squeeze too much in. Perhaps a better plan is to eliminate any nonessential information before you begin your presentation!
